This expansive foyer is located on the ground floor of the Michael Fowler Centre and encompasses the main reception area for the Wellington Convention Centre. With Italian marble floors, brass fittings and polished native timber, this is a flexible multi-purpose space.
Most regularly used for arrival and information desks for conventions, and for fine-art installations, this space can also be used for the pre-arrival foyer for dinner and shows in the venues major rooms. In addition to venue rental, there will be charges for catering requirements, technical equipment and labour (e.g. security and front-of-house). A detailed estimate of cost can be prepared upon request.
