Erik SatieGymnopédies
Gnossiennes
Sports et Divertissements
Je te veux
Socrate … and more
The iconoclastic, the bizarre, Monsieur Erik Satie! A controversial anti-hero in his own time, now after a century or so his soothing music has become the favourite of coffee commercials and helped created the ‘muzak’ heard in shopping malls.
Dan will use Satie’s own inspired and hilarious writings in another of his music-theatre performances that will both move you and make you laugh – featuring the witty and exquisitely meditative songs, piano and chamber music of that greatly misunderstood genius: Erik Satie.
